This site was originally created to support a session at the Teaching and Learning Institute, an Omaha Public Schools In-service Conference held at the University of Nebraska at Omaha July 29 – 31 presented by Jody Boyer and Jenny Maddock.

The site was updated for a presentation given Sunday March 30 at the NAEA conference in San Diego presented by Jody Boyer and Carrie Pope entitled “QR Codes in the Classroom”.

Presentation Overview:
QR codes, or Quick Response Codes, are a matrix type barcode that can be linked to a wide variety of instructional resources, websites, and student assessments. In this session, you will be taught how to create QR codes and a variety of methods to use them in the classroom from both a visual arts and science classroom perspective.
